Title: Birds and Bergs

I love the image, Kevin, but I'm wondering . . . I almost hate to suggest such blasphemy, but have you thought about moving the lead bird left enough to center it in the space in the ice berg and get its tail away from the ice a bit?

Yep, It would be blasphemy and it would then be too perfect.  I like it just the way it is.

Wow, I would have never thought of the 14-24 as a wildlife lens.. 8)

Perfection in life doesn't exist so why should photographers expect it in an image? I think - though I wasn't there - that as it is this would have been a very difficult  - and a lot of luck - shot to capture? A fine image and well worth posting.  :)

I was struck by how perfectly the void in the ice approximated a wing tip.  Great image.  Luck definitely visits the prepared.

Yikes, a bit late, another image on the FP now, but the Birds and Bergs was very very nice to see, cool use of the 14-24.
