Title: discount offered on Leica M and some lenses
Post by: craigrudlin on November 14, 2014, 05:35:43 pm

I saw a posting on reddotforum.com from Josh that Leica is offering a "instant voucher" on the Leica M and some M lenses.
Any ideas as to why the discount at this time?  Any rumors as to a new M?

Definitely an awkward move, especially after raising the price with $300 only 2 months ago...
Perhaps the market digested that increase badly?  Or perhaps increased competition from cameras like the Sony A7s?
BTW, this probably does not belong in the MF forum...
