Title: SOLD Rodenstock 300 Apo Sironar S Super Sharp lens for8x10 Prontor Professional
Post by: 8x10 user on October 13, 2014, 03:24:16 pm

Legendary ED glass now banned for new lens production in the EU due to lead content. Sharp as they get, even good for digital. The 448mm image circle good for 8x10 with plenty of movements. Perfect condition.

Price is $2400 plus shipping, about half what the lens sold for before it was discontinued.

The Apo Sironar S is said to be diffraction limited at normal working apertures... This lens is as sharp as 300mm gets.
