Title: Stange phenomenon
Post by: leuallen on October 11, 2014, 10:03:13 pm
When I first saw this image as a thumbnail I thought 'Oh crap! I jarred the camera and ruined the exposure". When I saw it full size and studied it, I realized that everything was as it should be. The boom auger is casting a shadow on the sunlit dust giving it the appearance of a double image.

I spent the latter part of the afternoon driving around looking some harvesting that would look good against the sun. I found this field and everything worked out terrifically.

That's quite an amazing shot. You can't plan that kind of effect.

That shadow adds to the shot nicely.
