Hi Jeremy,

I suspect I know where this is! I think you've done a pretty good job of getting a moment here without too much steam interfering with the mineral edge to the pool; however, I think with a little more time working on this image could elevate it into a much more striking shot - I would love to see more depth to the orange and green tones for example, which are such unusual combinations that they would grab the attention, and the mineral 'shoreline' is a little bright and almost too contrasty and could take a little calming down. That said, it is a good moment to have caught it like this and I certainly understand why you took it as the location just cries out for these almost dimensionless shots.

I think the potential is definitely there for a much more punchy image and the location certainly warrants that. Thanks for sharing and best regards, N.

It is an image which improves as one takes the time to mull over it. The face like structures on the shoreline, the unusual colour combination, the starkness of the shoreline compared with the loss of detail in the floating mist.

I thought it needed something until I took more time and then I feel it is great the way it is.
