Title: printing a catalogue of images with metadata included

Perhaps this should be in the Lightroom section, but does anybody know of a way to print a catalogue of images with metadata included. I had in mind an A4 portrait oriented page with 4 to 6 large thumbnails and with selected metadata printed alongside the images?

Yes Bob, I think there is possibly a solution for you.

In the Print module of Lightroom in the "Page" sub-panel on the right is an option "Photo Info".
Tick that and then click on the two small arrows next to whatever the current option is.
A message box will open and an edit option will be right at the bottom - select that.
A dialog box now opens that allows you to construct any combination of the available metadata.
The information appears to only want to print at the bottom of each image though.

Thanks Tony - I should have been more explicit - I want to print out a catalogue using the Metadata from LR in a tabular format like the attached mockup.
Does that make sense?

I checked out plug-ins written by Jeffrey Friedl and John Beardsworth (a big contributor to this forum) and did not specifically find anything to suit your needs.
However it does not mean that something is not out there.
I would consider sending John Beardsworth an email and posing your question to him.
He is much more likely to know whether there is a solution of the sort that you want.

My ListView plugin (http://photographers-toolbox.com/products/jbeardsworth/listview/) would allow you to do this, not exactly as you lay out but certainly with the thumbnail in the first column and other metadata fields in subsequent columns. You could send the info to a browser and print from there, or to Excel if you want to edit the text too.

Thanks for this John! I only posted the question after searching for plugins that might do the job - I just didn't think of you!
I'm presently on the road (my wife is driving) so I'll check this out when I get home.
