Title: New York City in October?

Hello,

I´m spending three weeks in NY City this october - will help
my girlfriend with her moving.

I´ve been to NYC before but would like to have some informations
what could be nice for photographing (except skyscrapers of course
;-) ) - also in the "near" of NYC - Connecticut or so.

I´m not travelling by car, just public transports - but could rent
a car for a couple of days outside the big apple.

Anything to recommend for Indian summer?
