Title: 20D Questions Thank You to All!

Well, I bought it from B&H photo. I can't believe I did it, but I did.  I think I almost went into cardiac arrest. I know now that I do have the bug and that I am serious about doing the best phoptograpy I can. I mean I knew that already, but this really slammed home my new obsession, and a near heart attack along with it (N - E - E - D, A - I - R):

Canon EOS 20D Digital Camera (Camera Body)

$3,204.85 Complete, including heart failure.

Hopefully I'll be able to afford the smaller lens in the next couple of months.

Actually you got a great deal if it included the heart failure. That goes for about $1000 per day in the hospital and it is hard to get out in less than 4 or 5 days. Just think. You paid for the heart failure and the camera came free!

$3,200?  That's the same as I paid for D30 BODY ONLY back in what, 2001?  What a great world.  You get a camera that is 20 times better, and some lenses and other kit, for the same money.  Enjoy enjoy enjoy.

(Don't worry about me, I upgraded each time a new body came out.) Bob.

Did you get a CF card with your 20D?  What size/make are you using?

No CF card. I'm using a San Disk Ultra II 1 GB for now. I bought it at Costco for 90 bucks, and it is returnable for an upgrade whenever I want. No return time limit. In fact I just took back my 512 Ultra II I bought 8 months ago to upgrade to the 1 GB. No questions. Thanks much. Come again.
