Title: Green and Peace - II
Post by: Rajan Parrikar on June 25, 2014, 12:32:35 pm
A historic church in an enchanting setting in Pomburpa, Goa.  More images in my blog post. (http://www.parrikar.com/blog/2014/06/25/green-and-peace-ii/)

My favourite is #2: one can see the church and the lush green surroundings, without the somewhat bland sky in the frame.

I also have a preference for #2 but the three photos as a set is even more interesting.

Thank you, gentlemen.

Paulo: The sky of the southwest Indian monsoon is, for the most part, of this nature.  There is not the dramatic cloud formations seen in the monsoon of the American Southwest.  Often we see a menacing dark cloud-cover just before a heavy downpour but without well-defined muscular features.  Instead you see an overall blanket of dark and white with subtler variations.
