Not really Cairo. I saw this in the industrial zone near my place. Can anyone tell me what would be the purpose of these concrete triangles? Construction?

Perhaps just to give you something odd to photograph? ;)

There is a process of building the walls of a certain type of industrial building that involves laying down reinforcing iron on the ground, pouring the concrete, letting it harden, and when it has set, removing the forms and standing it up on its edge to form a wall. Triangular walls seem a bit odd to me, but that looks like how these structures were made.
