Title: Recommendations for outsourcing product shot masking

Hello. Looking for recommendations of a reliable company to mask 150-200 product shots.
I get those emails from India or China. Always seem shady though.

Does anyone have experience with this?

I've been doing this for several years for ladies fashion and now find myself with a lot of spare time on my hands as I sit in my gallery

Use them all the time, business is run from UK, but work done in India. Fast, cheap and reliable.

Http://www.keyindiagraphics.com has done good clipping work for me. Just make sure that whoever does it is willing to return the work as a layered 16-bit per channel TIFF file in either the Adobe RGB(1998) or ProPhoto RGB color space.

Why do they need to return it in that format? Mine come back as greyscale lo-resolution jpegs with the same dimensions as my original files. The clipping path is a vector graphic and contains no colour or resolution information. I set the path to clip the greyscale layer and then dupe that layer into my original file.

hand "drawn" is much better than other selection methods. Yes, get it with paths(Not automated path) so the size of file is not important. Yet send large enough so they see the detail to work in. You can see the the difference with the placement of the anchor points.

I wonder what prices you pay per image?

I pay about $3 for an average hand drawn path, delivery in 48 hrs, to $5 for 24 hr service. Very complex items can cost quite a bit more.
