Title: Sandisk card reader not reading Lexar SD carder

I have a Sandisk card reader (Image Mate 8 in 1)

It's not reading Lexar SD card that I'm trying to upload into Lightroom for a friend.

The green light comes on but Lightroom doesn't pick up the device.

Nor does my computer from what I can see.

I usually use the CF cards which work fine.

Any thoughts? suggestions……solutions

  The card is probably too fast for the reader. The reader has been around about ten years and won't read the newer , faster cards.

 Try a newer reader.
