Title: Epson 3800 Filter Fail

Back to Filter Fail problem: After upgrading to Mac 10.8.5, I cannot print photos on my Epson Stylus 3800. The status window shows "Filter Fail."     Have reinstalled the current 9.17 Epson driver several times, re-named the name box in the sharing window. Plugged and un-plugged. Tried TIFF instead of JPEG. All to no avail.

Any other ideas out there?

Have you made contact with Epson's Customer Service about the issue?
