Title: Approaching storm at Needles Overlook
Post by: markadams99 on December 13, 2013, 02:25:29 pm
Keying off Bret Edge's shot (http://www.luminous-landscape.com/forum/index.php?topic=85063.0) from Green River Overlook, here's a spread from a photo book (http://thelightcavalry.zenfolio.com/blog/2013/11/grace-in-utah) of a recent trip to Utah. We raced south from Moab to hit the overlook just before sunset. Rain, snow, wind, rainbow behind us, etc. The yellow cast is real:

Wow! That light is outstanding and the stacked ridges add tremendous depth to the scene.  Love this one, Mark!

Perhaps it's time for a trip there.
