Title: Hyena in Mourning
Post by: Tony Jay on December 03, 2013, 03:11:18 pm

This particular Hyena female had just lost one of her cubs to a pride of lions.
She was rushing between the dead cub and her surviving offspring.
The concern on her face is plain to see.

I don't know what is on her face but that is a great shot.

Thanks for sharing it.

Nice animal portrait. What are the white dots spread all over the image?
