is it possible for a phase one digital back that is set up for a hasselblad h system to be converted to work on a v system?

Yes it is, but the price for the conversion is around 2.000,- EUR.

Best,

In the US it was $3k and that was 3 years ago.  I am not sure whether the prices have changed in the meanwhile.

And it is not a conversion.  You essentially get a different back.

not an option then. i just see so many used digital backs for hasselblad h system that are at so to speak at really good prices compared to the v system.

I chose the IQ160 in H mount and love it. Lots of used H1's around. I picked up an ex rental unit that was well used and it has worked perfectly. AF is spot on. IIRC I was quoted $2000 usd for the mount change months ago.
