Title: Yosemite wildfire smoke

Has anyone noticed better than usual sunset photographs, enhanced by the increased particulates from wildfires over the past couple of weeks?

I was there a couple of weeks ago, and for certain compositions it can work out to you benefit as shown in this link that has more of the Albert Bierstadt look to it:

But in general I tried to work around it by focusing on closer in compositions, later in the evening or up higher in elevation when/where the smoke was less.

We're used to some pretty great sunsets here in Oklahoma but the ones this past week have been spectacular and the weather guys say it's the smoke from the fires in the west. I have bee, unfortunately, stuck at home.  :(
