Title: Wary of me
Post by: Harald L on July 24, 2013, 03:37:19 pm
Obviously I look like a shoplifter. At the same time my wife and my two daughters were inside the shop.

Guess who has been ripped off in the end?

Good one, great expression.

Next time you go shopping with them, don't let your wife and daughters have the credit card.  :D

Obviously you don't have daughters. At a certain age they can smell cash and credit cards like a lion its prey. You may vacuum and hide the stuff as carefully as you can - no chance at all.

You're right. No daughters, only one son. He's expensive enough, even at age 34.

I just had another interpretation of your photo: Maybe the guard is looking askance at you because he senses that you still have a credit card in your pocket that you didn't give to the women-folks.
