The first and last are the best, I think. #8 is odd because there seem to be more trees in the reflection than in reality.

No. 3 is outstanding in my view. Head and shoulders above the rest. Everything works in it - the light, composition and subject. The mood is wonderful and I just love the bend in the tree trunks and the way they have been places in the frame to lead my eye from the foreground group to those further back. Its the sort of moody B&W that laps up the grain and makes it sing. Top stuff for me.

I like the most 2 and 3. Few elements that are well placed, with a message that I resonate with.

I've been struggling with it for a while. One problem is that 12 pics all at once are a bit much. But my delayed vote goes for #4, though if I could I'd get rid of the twig just below the woman on the left. I sort of look for the Frankenstein monster to rear his head in front of the house.

#1's a beaut, by the way.

I like them all, but 3 and 8 stand out as favorites.
