Very clean, relaxing image with beautiful soft colors!

Very nice.

I like the shapes, composition and colours a lot. The foreground trees are a little bright for my taste.
-
Rich tones, but I agree with the slightly too bright foreground trees - almost as if a flash was used to light them.
Also - check the horizon - it does seem straight.
-
Got to luv those pastel colors and composition!
I also agree about the foreground trees. They appear as if the light is coming from the wrong direction and they would not be so bright considering the tonality of the rest of the photo.Yes the horizon is listing to the right

I also noticed the bright trees. Most of them are shorter (younger?) than the tall ones. I don't know whether that plays a role.
It might probably come from the use of a grad filter…

Thank you everyone for your thoughtful comments! This picture is pretty much what i wast, no flash, and only a 0.6 GND which altered the scene. The shadow and highlight is natural from the sunlight.

There is no horizon in this photograph. I think that what you are referring to is the far shore of the lake - and there is no earthly reason why that should be horizontal.

Makes me want to search out the coordinates and go visit there for myself.

Thanks, added to my road trip folder. I keep a list for the day I get to retire and drag my old Astro van around the country..

Gorgeous! I really need to make it up there.

If you're there, cross the road and hike into Desolation Wilderness (http://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/ltbmu/recreation/?cid=stelprdb5162346).
