They hunt by the air and also by running over the ground. I appologise for converting to mono as such shots arnt supposed to have any photoshop but i love mono.

I love it .... and what a man on a mission he appears to be.  I wish I could pluck up that intensity of determination.

Nice sharpness and tones, but I am not sure about the centric composition here. LEft/right is OK, but wouldn't it better to crop out some of the top of the image?

Yes, wonderful shot! Where were you? on ground? in brush? in treeline , on stonewall? I wonder if you could content scale some room for him out to the right by stretching the focus band there while at the same time working him to the left and up, by careful cropping there....he is just too proud, skilled and magnificent to be "the hunted" dead in the center...he is worth the effort....glad you made this capture!

Monotone - no issue.

Just needs some judicious croppping.

What a great situation, love the owl. I'm not really fond of the composition tho. Too much in the center, the background is a bit buisy even if the bookeh looks good, maybe you should crop it as well?
