Title: More decay

Whilst walking on a local pier I saw this decay of part of the pier which is fenced of to prevent anyone hurting themselves. Has it any merit photographically?

I very much like the composition and the attainable vanishing point.  The color seems to me to be as distressed as the pier-woodwork; I would be tempted to pretty it up in Black & White.

I agree with Bruce. The composition is good but the color looks like an HDR attempt that went astray.
