I guess it inspired me to title this one,

Angels at Two O'Clock High"

P51's were much later in the second world war.
BoB was fought with Spitfires and Hurricanes, occasional Beaufighters and Mosquitos.

I redid this with a different crop and a slight change in the emphasis of portraying the metal in the primary object. Wondering if you like this crop any better?

I agree, the tighter crop work better for me too!

The wider crop is far better. The closer crop is just a picture of a thing. A nice, sharp, detailed picture, but it's just a picture of a thing.
