Very nice. I quite like the tension between the dark and light half, the simplicity, and the muted palette.  There is an excellent balance between the two very different halves, despite compositional dissimilarities.  The only part that bothers me, from what I can see at this size, are the bubbles in the foreground water.  They seem to draw the eye forward too much.

This is very reminiscent of the Pictorialists of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, pre-Adams and Weston. And none the worse for that. We are so obsessive (particularly in certain sections of this site) about sharpness, detail, and resolution that it would do us good to be reminded, as here, that great pictures can and should be made without too much detail or resolution at all.

I like the mood and composition of this very much indeed.

I agree with John. Mood and composition trump technical stuff any day, IMHO.

The bubbles don't bother me, as they help add a bit of depth to the scene.

very nice. I would like to see a bigger image to get a better feel for it.
