I am thinking of buying this lens (Canon mount) for a 5D2 and 5D3.
I have a Canon 70-200mm f2.8 and a Canon 500mm f4.0.
I have also considered acquiring the Canon 300mm f2.8.
If anyone has experience with this lens I would appreciate the feedback.
Kind Regards

Hello,
I haven't tried the Sigma 120-300mm lens but I do own a Sigma 100-300mm F4 lens and I can say the optics are superb. I also have the Sigma 1.4 converter which is also excellent.
The guys at photozone has written that it is the sharpest lens Sigma have ever made to date.
Below is a link to a new Sigma 100-300mm F4 lens

Apologies Keith.
You do appear to have gotten good results.
It does provide food for thought.

I have purchased the Sigma 120-300mm f2.8 OS.
I may give an update on its performance once I have had a good play.
Thanks to Keith Reeder for his input.
