Found another one from my trip long ago and finally managed to spot and clean it a little ...

The mountains look a little too black for me. But then, I know in the southwest light, when the mountains go purple, it looks very similar. I don't know what your original light was. I do like it.

Great alpine image. I like the high contrast and the texture of the foreground.

I like the composition, but the middle values are too hard for my taste and there's no shadow detail to speak of. They limit what could have been a richer visual experience, imo.

I agree that the mids are too heavy and the shadows need at least a hint of implied detail.

It looks like you had a HUGE range of contrast to deal with and decided to expose for your highlights but it destroyed your shadows.  These are very tough conditions to shoot in.  I couldn't imagine trying to take this image with film!  You would need like N-100 devolpment!
