I noticed the swan and group of ducks cruising around the bay in apparent formation.   The dark/light/dark and scale symetry of the foreground, middleground, and background caught my interest.  So I took the snap.

Upon further cropping of the original image.  The formation of the birds swimming by the rocks invoked a scene of ships positioned along a string of islands.    The string of rocks (with perhaps some stretch of imagination) are reminiscent of the hawaii islands.

Perhaps I should darken the ducks in the background further to emphasize the Swan and the relationships of to other elements in the image.
