This little guy has to be the most spectacular hummingbird in the world. They are endemic to one small valley up in the North of Peru. It was a real thrill and a dream come true to get some photos :)

Just look at that tail!

Not sure it looks that useful. Must be something to do with attracting insects and/or mates. But its beauty and your caputre is indeed wonderful.
