Just in case you've been wondering why photography, on average, is losing value:
Artist Fills Room With 24 Hours of Flickr Photos (http://mashable.com/2011/11/14/flickr-kessels-photography/)

Great, Slobodan. Unfortunately it's losing a lot more than monetary value. But the same thing has happened to painting, music, poetry, you name it.

Excuse me while I go smack my head against this wall... *SMACK

Now, the artist took, imho, a wrong commercial approach. Instead of printing millions of Flickr photos, he should have printed a single one, any one, as a 143 x 73-inch chromogenic print, face-mounted on Plex, and I am sure it would sell for millions (j/k) ;)

Or he could rig out a Stearman with colored smoke and do the print in skywriting. It'd be the equivalent of a Christo installation.
