If a roll of Velvia dated 2005 and has been refrigerated the whole time will it degrade any? Any color shift etc?

There will be no noticeable difference. Cheers, Theodoros www.fotometria.gr

One roll?

Maybe more than one-don`t know yet.

From my experience it may have a slight magenta cast, however it is easily dealt with when scanning.

There can be a color shift and a loss of contrast. Don't use is for anything important. Great for a test roll.

Mike,
it also depends at which temperature it has been refrigerated. Usually films don't move or degrade for a few years if kept at - 13º C or under. Above this, let's say in the refrigerator where the temperature is around 3º to 5º C it is more critical.
