Title: New driver for Epson Pro 3800 on OSX 10.6.8

Epson announced some days ago, the availability of a new print driver for the Pro 3800 on Mac OSX Snow Leopard:
the "Epson 2.8 Print driver DL1398"
I have a iMac with OSX 10.6.8 which uses the Print driver 8.64 for my Epson Pro 3800.
Would it be useful to replace this 8.64-driver by the new driver and does anybody know what the advantages of doing so would be?

I would only update the driver if you are having problems printing with your 3880.

Excellent advice! If your printer does work as intended and the new driver doesn't offer additional feature(s) or correct annoying bug(s), it would wise not to mess with it.

The "2.8" drivers are updated for Lion.
