Title: Hasselblad Ixpress CF
Post by: Mike Sellers on July 26, 2011, 04:05:20 pm
How do you know if this back is the model 132 or 528? How does this back compare to other 22mp backs?

Google is your best friend :-)
CF22 is thinner, the 528 has an extra black multishot module as can mbe seen on the pictures. They are as good as a 22Mp gets. Different from the Leaf/sinar/Dalsa offerings but same great quality. I would go for the 39 as to me it is the sweet spot between image size, pixel quality and pricing.

Both are 22MP sensors;

The CF 132 is a single shot and the CF 528 is single + 4-shot (called Multishot) + 16-shot (called Microstep) for a total of three different shooting modes.

Multishot and Microstep require tethering to the computer...

External appearance is shown below from the left side on the first page of this product information doc circa 2005:

P.S. Shooting to DNG is not available with new firmware (it was just wayyyyy to slow)

Best,

John
