I'm getting occasional banding in the shadows of my photos. It's not in all of my images. It seems to start up then a couple of frames will get these dark lines then it backs off and disappears. So maybe five photos having banding, then are completely jacked up, then a few more have banding before going back to normal. I'm firing Pocket Wizards Plus II's with my H1. Any idea of what might be going on? I had the back serviced by Leaf not all that long ago.

Try another FW cable

Not a bad idea, but the same thing happened when shooting to a card.

John I suggest that you contact your dealer and provide as much info as possible: firmware/ software version, type of card/ OS etc. and possibly send the back in for a check-up

Yair's right. I've seen all this before (except the purple lines).
I saw it during overheating, over shooting (on a contax) in other words shooting when it went beap instead of counting beep, 1, 2 then shoot but it got fixed.
The good thing is it can be fixed and Leaf can (or could) swap boards out on the camera at Leaf Of America..
I don't know if that exists anymore, but it is a pretty easy fix.
IMO
