Title: Margins on Epson 3880?
Post by: RetSurfer on June 20, 2011, 10:22:27 am
I’m printing a 17X22 from Lightroom.
I crop my image 17X22 and when I go to the margins in Print the bottom is .58 in. All the rest are .25, which I want as the default all around. The bottom won’t budge even though I try to type in .25.
Any ideas?  ???
Thanks
Mark

I think it has something to do with the default of the Epson driver.  See page 62 of the manual and you can work around this by creating a custom paper size.

Build your file as 17" x 22" WITH the white borders and print the image BorderFree on 17" x 22" paper.

Just a a data point, with my 3800 printing from CS5, a 16.7 x 21.7 360 dpi image prints 100% on 17x22 with even borders all around using the normal ANSI 17x22 paper size in the epson driver.  Don't see why the 3880 would not act the same....

I think it's LR.
I'm going to change the printer to boardless tonight and see if LR takes away that bottom .56....
