There was a post (that I can not find) regarding a Glamour II alternative that was sold by Lowes. Anyone know what it is?

Can't tell you the Lowes product, but I have been spraying Rosco Clear Acrylic Gloss Glaze for over a year. Dilute 1 to 1 with water. If you want to get a semi-gloss, cut 3 to 1 with their matt product.  Google Rosco.

This is quite thin, and I apply one  heavy coat followed by two lighter coats.

I've tried many of the topcoats on the market and I settled on Eco Print Shield.  Extremely flexible and doesn't crack when stretched at all.  Dilute with 20% water (if desired - don't have to).  Can by in matte, satin and gloss.

Yes, I use it on matt IJ unbrightened canvas. Check to see if your local theater supply house stocks it. They will ship it direct if weather is not freezing. Stays very flexible. I try and stretch within hours of spraying. The gloss has a runny appearance, but you should still dilute as per the label to avoid it drying with a milky appearance. I spray with the "cheap" Wagner HVLP gun. I've used the diluted mixture as long as two weeks. Spray gun works better if it is at least half full.

Yes, It is Minwax Polycrylic. I have used it for 6 years and haven't had a problem. It comes in gloss, semigloss and matte. it is around $43.00 a gallon in the U.S.

Actually, Lowes doesn't sell the gallon containers, but Home Depot does.

Is it used straight or diluted? I will be spraying it with Fuji Hvlp system.

I use the Minwax Polycrylic straight. I don't use a sprayer, but a roller. I have seen some of my canvas prints that I coated with this from six years ago and there are no cracks. I sell about 800-1,000 pieces of art a year.

Decided to go with Rosco acrylic glaze. The miniwax product is not meant to be sprayed.

The product at Lowes is Valspar Clear Protector Satin.
