Sorry for my lack of posts lately folks. I have been off on a 3 week road trip through the interior of British Columbia. It was a great trip with lots of memorable encounters. I thought I'd start off with this one that I hope you will enjoy.

Very nice. We see plenty of loons along the coast in the winter and in migration, but they are never in breeding plumage.

I love the way the reflections emphasize the loon's "natural moire" pattern.

Great sharpness and framing Glenn.  Thanks for sharing.

The water drop falling from the beak and the reflection of the feather pattern in the lower right really makes the photo exceptional!
