Hello,
Anyone have experience with this paper, Moab Entrada Rag Natural 300
working with a Canon 9000 MkII printer?
Is the paper good with dye inks?
Is the 300gsm to much for the Canon 9000 MkII printer to handle?

Hmm,
I see that Canon's Photo Pro Platinum is also 300gsm, so, I guess it's okay?
I also see that the Canon paper is a Glossy, and the Moab is a Fine Art.
But both are Smooth.

You are aware of the fact that dye inks and matte inkjet coatings in general are a bad combination for print longevity? For the other aspects, the image quality can be good but it could be that there are not that many users around using a comibination like that to tell you what the image quality is. I have not checked whether the canon mentioned uses dye inks. Dye inks and for dye ink compatible papers will last longer than the combination above.

Yes, I've read that pigment inks are better for longevity.
I unfortunately do not have a pigment printer.
The Canon 9000 MkII I have and enjoy is a dye based ink printer.
I have been considering an Epson 3880 for some time now, though, as a mere hobbyist, it is really hard to justify the costs.
Not so much the initial purchase price upfront, the cost of maintaining and usage.
Sigh, maybe one day...
Anywho, I was just hoping that some one here may be familiar with such a combination.
