Title: THE WORKAROUND or solving Apple/Epson/Adobe printing issues.

In  a post by Mark Dubovoy last year  the subject of Solving Recent Profiling Issues With Apple Computers
Epson Printers and Photoshop was discussed.
The solution was to use an unorthodox approach or a 'workaround."
Is this still necessary?
Or. Has the problem been resolved???

As it relates to printing printer targets for making a profile, yes...or use the Adobe Color Printer Utility application (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/834/cpsid_83497.html)...

Note, this is ONLY relating to the specific purpose of printing targets, not regular printing duties.
