Hi all,
there wasn't much adv about the new phase 35mm... i'm really interested on that lens, but i'm worried about the perfomances
Anybody had the chance to touch one?

I own one . Its very nice a lot like the older version in some ways but seems a bit sharper in the corners and in ALL corners. My issues with older versions unless you got a really good copy was one corner or more was out. Not the new one seems everything is on par. I just did not happen to shoot it last week on our workshop so I still need to get out with it more and play but I do like it so far.

Actually I take that back . I did get a shot off with the new 35mm lens. With a P40+ at F11

I rented the lens for one of my automotive projects and found it to be slightly superior to my older manual 35mm. Sharpness was pretty much the same but a noticeable improvement in terms of less barrel distortion was the big difference. Jim

Well, it sounds like they have improved the quality controls during the production of the lens, and nothing more...
My lens needs to be carefully focused, near infinity at f16 it's ok, but if i focus at 4 meters the right side of the image is blurred...
Thanks to all, i guess i should keep my 35mm and go for the 28mm, perhaps i'll crop if i'll need...
