SanDisk card speeds are unpredictable on the Minolta cameras - some Ultra II cards will work fast, others will be among the slowest cards around.

To get the best speeds available on the A2, I would recommend a 12X or faster Lexar card - you will not generally get any speed improvement with the A2 with anything faster than 12X, but a faster card might be a good investment if you are thinking about switching to a dSLR in the future.[/font]
