Fine dark line with Selphy Canon CP800.

Has anyone noticed a fine dark line when printing pastel colors with a Selphy CP800 ???
Only yellows are not affected.

This is a new model and it appears that Canon has not solved the (supposed firmware) problem.

But the most important question is how to contact the right person at Canon, help please ?!


I've tried to print with several programs and even directly from card.
Also tried several ink cartridges and paper.
And even tried another CP800 !

Fine dark line is always at about 10mm from the edge !

No response from Canon Belgium as the problem seems to be unknown.

Is the problem unoticed by users or is it a defective batch !

Have tried 2 printers, identical problem !!!

Help, please !

I just acquired a CP800, and it exhibits the same problem.

I bought a CP800 today and appear to have exactly the same problem. I have raised a ticket with Canon support, but I would be very interested to hear if this is a common problem.

I received a reply from Canon support today, who just suggested returning it to the Canon service centre.

I exchanged my CP800 for a replacement unit at the store, but it still has the same problem. In additional to the horizontal line at the top, there was faint banding all over the image with both printers.
