Has anyone checked to find what Polarized Glasses are the most color correct. I have testing some of them wondering if anyone else has looked to find this out. With all f the incredible smart photographers on this site. Surely someone has looked. Thanks Tim

I have tried them all, always looking for the perfect pair to help me spot fish in the water. The Kaenons grey tint lenses, either G12 or G28 depending on how much light transmission you want, seem the most accurate/neutral to me (but the copper tint helps to see the fish better ;)).

My current pair of Polaroids (I think of them as Celluloids), bought from Boot's the chemists some decades ago, are still hanging together despite being almost eaten away by facial acids, the legs far wider apart than might seem decent, but I love them still. The lenses, of course, are pristine, as you'd expect from a snapper. Apart from seeing fish where none exist, the main benefit I derive from them is a sense of joie de vivre in the amber world they give me, especially when it's raining. In my youth, I'd have added 'even at night!'
I bought a pair of Ray Bans in Gibralter a long time ago and I realised that they were seriously flawed: they gave me the impresssion of having to climb a permanent step in the pavement. So, they lived in the dash of the car, from whence they were the only things stolen when some mothers broke into it one night in the car park, twisting out both doors in an attempt to gain entry. Cost the insurance two new doors, and myself a lot of anger and hatred for some people. The Guardia Civil, to whom I reported the event, were most helpful, telling me I was the fifth victim that night in peacefull little Puerto Pollensa... what the Tourist Board doesn't tell you. But at least nobody got shot. However, had I had a gun and had I known what was going down, I might now be living in jail, basic justice done, twice.

The most neutral that I have found so far are the Oakley Black Iridium polarized lenses.

Neutral is dull.
