Title: Can I use same printer profile with different programs

Hi, i have my monitor profiled with spyder 3 and had my canon printer profiled by printing targets via photoshop which were sent to a company who returned my icc profile. If i use this profile with aperture as apposed to photoshop should i get the same results or would the programs interpret the profile differently?

It should work fine.

I made some adjustments to a photo in aperture and exported to Lightroom, images looked the same on screen. Result, aperture printed with a blue cast and lightroom printed the colours fine. I use a canon mp610 and custom profile.
Anyone else have this problem?

Make sure this isn’t a V4 profile...

I opened up the details of the profile in colorsync utility and it shows as version 2

The two app’s should produce identical results with identical settings. Could be a bug with Aperture but I’ve never seen this.
