Title: Difference In IQ Using MF 28MegapiBack or Canon 5D MK2 L Glass

Is there enough difference in IQ between using say a Mamiya 645 AFD 2/3 with a Leaf 28 Meg Digital back?
    If not I will NOT make the Investment to do it. I do appreciate any ideas. I will be shooting Portraits on location and groups at weddings. Thanks   rollsman

I'de stay with the Canon unless you are doing prints larger that 16x20 / 20x24.  On canvass printing, I doubt you would see a difference unless your pixel peepin.

You will see an absolute difference - no question...smooth tonality, color and sharpness of the MFDB blows away the Canon, the real question is do you want to sacrifice the Speed, Hi ISO performance and mobility of the Canon.  For Portraits and Groups on location I would stay with a DSLR for quick handling and the ISO performance.
