Frostastaðavatn, the volcanic lake in the Highlands of Iceland during the first dusting of snow last week.  For the rest of the images in the series, go here. (http://www.parrikar.com/blog/2010/10/31/first-snow-in-the-highlands-of-iceland/)

Rajan...What an extraordinary part of the world...I am struck just now with a remarkable sense of gentle rocking in some of these images in the way you composed...a gentle hammock almost...even Borkur's yellow umbrella image conveys the same feeling as if that peak upper right quadrant is being gently cradled...haven't sorted this in my mind yet...just a very pleasant sensation...such dichotomy, soft and gently swaying yet it is monumental solid architecture we are enjoying...you have a wonderful embace of this place...I would love to be there with you...  p.
