I had a very neat opportunity the other night to photograph this cute little owl. I havent seen too many shots of this species at night so I thought I'd post this one.

That is one striking graphical representation! I think it would be even stronger if the upper twig is removed, either by cropping or cloning.

It is indeed a stunning shot. I disagree about the upper branch (it looks a bit big to be described as a twig!). I think it frames the subject rather nicely.

I agree with the above. The branch (not twig) frames the subject; otherwise there'd be too much dead space and not enough owl.
