Dongle is required.

I see, it is not clear from Leaf's e-mail promotion.
Thanks.

I agree. only the Aptus-II line is dongle free.
I have an Aptus-II 5 for sale, just in case you were in the market for one.

Jonathan, I have Leaf 65 and Sinar 54H. I thought to sell them some time ago to buy a newer back, but than I found that my current setup is all I need.

No need for a dongle but it does not work on Contax

I still don't see it that it supports dongle-free live view for Aptus-I backs.
Yair, can you clarify? This is one of the most annoying things about Leaf. There is inconsistent information everywhere on this topic.

Please read my post above, no need for a dongle if you're using Capture One PRO with an Aptus or the (free) DB version with an Aptus-II
Please let me know if you have found different information anywhere and I'll make sure it is corrected, thanks

Is this new with 5.2? or has this been the case all along?
