Thank you Russ. The "home team" won their school soccer match. These are the pupils and teachers. It happened twice that the pupils ran onto the field in previous matches celebrating. Sitting in the middle of the field capturing penalty shootouts allowed for me to be in the middle of them when it happened again. Third time lucky I guess.

A great shot and worth definately an entry into a competition that is looking for Social Documentary category, or even a category entitled: Joy. Though I would like to make an observation, unless this is a result of the web compresssion, I would try to unblock those blacks if possible. If you have Photoshop did you overdo it on the multiply or overlay blend or curves. It is a great shot but a wee, tinsy bit spoiled by the blocked up blacks.

That's a wonderful expression of joy. As mentioned the darkest tones are a little blocked up, but printed large it would make a great image.
