G lenses are lenses like the 14-24 f2.8 that do not have an aperture ring.

That really is good news.
I have long pined away not only for the 14-24, but really for the 200-400mm zoom.
I have been waiting for Canon to come out with a Mk II on its antiquated 100-400mm ... for a long time ... but this Novoflex bridge may make that wait unnecessary (although Nikon's price for the 200-400mm at $6900 is a bit daunting).

i got one of these from Speed Graphic a few months ago. great service from them, and nothing else to say except it's brilliant and works really well.
