Title: Mac screen calibration

This has probably been covered before but I'm looking for a quick answer. I use both matte and glossy mac screens (mainly the gloss one now) and I'm looking for a monitor calibration kit for both.

My budget right now is pretty low so I'm really looking for suggestions. I've heard a lot of good things about XRites products. Is the X-Rite i1 any good or should I look at Spyder's? Really not sure which one to go for.

Either one will work well for matte or glossy screens.

I use an X-Rite Eye one Display 2 on My iMac and Macbook ( both glossy screens ) and an older matte Gateway. No problems with any of them. Can't speak for the latest Spyder's as I haven't used them for years.
